🤷 Maybe you just don’t know how to choose effectively. You can learn - and do it your own way.
The 6-Step Manifesting Protocol 💃
This is a system I designed by noticing how I manifested things in my life, including recovery from cervical cancer and hysterectomy without the recommended chemotherapy and radiation. (I’m not giving any medical advice for your health care choices. Always seek appropriate medical care.)
These 6 Steps are more like steps in a dance than a linear sequence. You can use them one at a time or blend them together, and go back and forth between them.
Vision ~ Intention ~ Appreciation ~ Listen ~ Action ~ Celebration!
The Steps are cyclical, so manifesting one Intention will naturally lead you on to creating another, from one day to the next, and through each Moon cycle, season and year, projects or phases of life.
This year, the Essential Arts community will focus on one Step each Moonth or Moon cycle. This feels like a natural and magical rhythm for a Manifesting practice, and so is each day.
Daily Manifesting Practice 📆
You can start the day by checking in with your Vision, the big dream you’re holding in your heart. It’s okay if this isn’t completely clear, as it will clarify over time as you give it your attention.
Set Intentions for that day that support your Vision coming into being, then create and prioritize your to-do list from that deeper inner commitment and desire. This sets you up for a more fulfilling day, especially if you continue with the next step.
Appreciation brings to your awareness what you already have to work with, how far you’ve already come, and even gratitude for opportunities, blessings and resources coming your way in the future.
Listen for guidance and be willing to learn along the way, making course corrections as needed. Practice connecting with your intuition in meditation so you can quickly return to your quiet, wise center throughout the day. Pay attention to synchronicities that arise spontaneously, and seek out relevant information and advice.
Action is more successful and satisfying when grounded on these first steps rather than just rushing off into busy-ness. You’ll feel less stressed and burned-out when your Actions align with your heart-held Vision and aligned Intentions. You may find a light touch is all that is needed to accomplish things that could otherwise be tiring chores or seem daunting.
Finally, Celebration! is a wonderful way to end each day, and can help you sleep better, realizing the things you did accomplish, the help you received, sometimes even just getting through the day. In fact, why wait? Celebrate throughout the day, even when you accomplish small things, and it will become a habit, a way of being, finding joy along the way on your daily manifesting journey.
This Moonth’s Manifesting Step 1: Vision 💭
Vision may start vague, broad, then become clearer and more concise, or it can start tiny and grow 🌱 You may share a larger vision with others and sense your unique Vision within it as well.
It's big-picture, it's audacious, so dare to dream and let your imagination go. There’s some need in the world inspiring your Vision, activating your gifts, sparking your passion and providing you with an opportunity to live your optimal wellness and success in service to yourself and others. Effective, empowering solutions and strategies come clearer and more easily from Vision than reaction.
This can be your soul's purpose and heart's desire - for yourself, your life, the world. You can be looking ahead through the upcoming months, perhaps picturing how you want to feel at the end of this Moon cycle or month, or next year at this time. You can also focus on one area or project like your health, work, relationships.
This is not the place for to-do lists, or even specific Intentions. Those will come later. For now, just let your mind and heart relax and open to what comes. If you start to think of more concrete ideas or tasks, either make quick notes you can come back to later, put them into a larger mind map, or zoom out and listen to what deeper meaning they hold and bring forth.
Notice your feelings as well as images, symbols or sensations, both helpful and holding you back, as they are valuable gifts to work with. Try picking one that represents your Vision, and this can be your North Star that guides you through the manifesting process. 🌟
Hold it in your mind, heart, belly, hands. Stand on its strength beneath your feet. Feel it shine down on you. Align with it above, below and within.
Ultimately, it’s that feeling that will help you stay focused through the Manifesting process. Passion fuels the Vision, sustains and guides us better than lists or rote habits. Manifesting is powered by seeing or feeling the work already done, believing in it because it is you, an expression of your true self and your heart’s desire. ❤️🔥
