Reiki Level 1 training will provide you with a basic understanding of the amazing healing art of Reiki, its history, how it works and how to use it, with an attunement that immediately activates your Reiki healing energy flow so you can begin your own self-healing practice right away.

This is a 2-part training, with the second class held on the following Saturday, also 1:30-4:30, to allow for practice and integration in between. Both sessions are required for Level 1 certification. In addition, all Level 1 training packages include at least one follow-up Reiki Seminar and a Vermont Reiki Association Student Membership.

You will leave Part 1 with a daily self-practice that you can vary and experiment with to suit your own needs, as well as the timeline of Reiki history, an introduction to human energy systems, and a foundational code of ethics and principles to guide and support you in integrating your practice into your life.

In Part 2 you will have opportunities to share your experiences with your new practice, ask any questions that arise and hear the experiences of your classmates. You will begin to practice on others, learn how to communicate about Reiki, and discover the Reiki community.

Then you will be welcome to attend a Reiki Seminar, either a Friday morning 1-hour session or a 2-hour Saturday afternoon session, to continue learning and share experiences with other Reiki practitioners. A Vermont Reiki Association Student Membership is also included, which provides you with opportunities to connect and practice with others in the Vermont Reiki community.

Since most people find it more difficult to create and maintain a successful Reiki practice on their own, I have created three packages to make available more personal support through individual Reiki sessions and coaching, as described below. Payment plan are available as well.

If you have never experienced a Reiki session, contact me and we will schedule a session before the training. I feel it's important to receive Reiki from someone else before learning to practice so you are familiar with the energy itself while you're not also learning and thinking about how to do it. It is deceptively simple and can be quite subtle, so it's important to be able to "tune in" to the sublime sensation without distraction initially.

All instruction and sessions are provided by Dawn Hancy, Reiki Master Practitioner and Teacher of Essential Arts Reiki. I keep in touch with all my Reiki students to support their continued growth and development. I love to offer more teachings and resources periodically and to hear their experiences and questions that arise. Once I am your teacher you can always come to me with anything Reiki-related.

While most people find they need more support in developing a successful personal Reiki practice, this Basic Training will give you complete essential Reiki 1 training, which may be sufficient if you are self-motivated to continue your practice and study.

This Economy Package offers all the benefits of the Basic package plus the individualized experience of Reiki treatments which accelerate your natural healing and the development of your Reiki practice, an hour of personal coaching to help you create your own unique and successful Reiki path and practice, and a year’s subscription to the primary periodical publication of the Reiki community. You will also be able to attend 2 Friday Seminars or 1 Saturday Seminar in addition to the Vermont Reiki Association Student Membership.
